Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts.

Ocean Illness Campaign
The Jersey Shore Chapter has started a new campaign to document cases where local surfers and swimmers have become ill after surfing or swimming in the ocean.

Rally & Paddle Out Against LNG
Clean Ocean Action held a great event against LNG on the Asbury Park boardwalk July 1, 2009. Many chapter activists were also on hand for the event.

Asbury Park Family Day at the Beach!

The Jersey Shore Chapter is giving back to the community by hosting surfing clinics and water safety lessons for local kids in AP. Volunteers are still needed.
